1 cup organic white sugar
1 cup turbinado sugar (use brown if you don't have turbinado)
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups Quick Cook Oats
2 cups semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Cream the butter, sugar & brown sugar in large mixing bowl.
Add eggs and mix/stir well.
Next add flour, wheat germ, salt & baking soda.
Mix all ingredients well.
Stir in the oats, then stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Use a tablespoon to shape into 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
This makes about 5 dozen cookies, but I wouldn't worry - they will go fast!!

Thanks Janine! Yes, it might take a little too much time to open up all those packets LOL
We have "Bulk Barn" here and they have every sugar imaginable in bulk - including organic, I love it. Let me know how you like them! Thanks for stopping by :)

These look great! A great and healthier alternative to Tollhouse. Definitely gonna try these. They only had turbinado sugar in the packets at my grocery store last week, so I don't think I'll be opening up enough packets to make up a cup today. I'll have to wait until I can get it in bulk! = )
